The start!

Hello!

Welcome to my 3D blog! I'm Toni Kitti, a Finnish based artist and 3D-enthusiastic. On this blog I will introduce my 3D collection including lenticular cards, viewmasters etc. I also present my own 3D art.

I think 3D pictures are one of the finest inventions mankind has ever made. Of course there are more important ones like penicillin and the kind that keep people alive but 3D in it's total vanity is a fantastic way to show how far we, the people, have come keeping ourselves alive and thus being able ot create something so useless as imitating life on a flat surface that looks as it has real depth to it. I think it's one of the nature's wonders and I never seem to get tired of it! There's always something amazing and wonderous about the life-likeness of these pictures no matter how many times you have seen them before.

This is the shrine to that wonder and some of it's forms. This is not a compele databank anyhow because I don't do things that don't interest me so atleast for now I will not write about holographic images because I don't like them because of their highly artificial character. They are not life-like. I will not write about 3D-movies either because that is not my field. I'm a photographer so still images are a very strong part of me and so I will concentrate on them.
